INTERIORS GALLERY Interiors are the most metaphoric genre. You look in to a room through the window of the frame and see someone's attempt to organize space. It's entirely syntactic: meaning is derived through placement.	SELF-PORTRAIT GALLERY A good portrait should embarrass the sitter by revealing something they didn't know people could see in their faces. (That's why I don't like my self portraits.)
