Nude Figure Gallery
I approach the nude figure like I do the human face. I try to make a portrait of the model, because the body is at least as individualistic as the face.

Landscape is the "national genre" in Canada, where I paint in Georgian Bay is hallowed art historical ground thanks to our most famous exponents of the landscape: the Group of Seven.

Interiors Gallery
Interiors are the most metaphoric genre. You look in to a room through the window of the frame and see someone's attempt to organize space. It's entirely syntactic: meaning is derived through placement.

Paris Sketchbook 1979
This is a sketchbook on very poor paper from a trip to Paris in 1979. I went on the spur of the moment to visit a friend who was an artist who lived in Berlin. I had a Berlin sketchbook, too, but it was stolen in Paris.
